Terms & Conditions

These terms govern any project or engagement between AK Studio ("we", "us", "our"), based in Hyderabad, Telangana, and the client ("you") who commissions design or development work from us. By approving a quote or making a payment, you agree to these terms.

Project scope and process

Every engagement starts with a conversation about your business and requirements. We share a proposed direction and a fixed quote before any work begins. Work outside the agreed scope — extra pages, new features, or major direction changes after approval — is treated as a separate request and quoted accordingly.

Payment

Pricing is agreed upfront and confirmed in writing (email or message) before work starts. Depending on the project, we may require an advance before starting and the balance before final handover. Late payments may pause active work.

Revisions

Reasonable revisions to the agreed design are included before final payment, as discussed at the start of the project. Requests that go beyond the original scope, or revisions requested after final handover, may be billed separately.

Timelines

We commit to the timelines agreed at the start of a project. Delays caused by late feedback, missing content, or changes in scope on your end may extend the delivery date accordingly.

Third-party costs

Costs for domain registration, hosting, premium plugins, stock assets, or other third-party services are separate from our design and development fee, unless explicitly included in your quote. We'll always flag these before purchasing on your behalf.

Ownership and intellectual property

Once the project is paid for in full, ownership of the final website files and design transfers to you. Until full payment is received, all work remains the property of AK Studio. We may showcase completed projects in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.

Cancellation and refunds

If you cancel a project after work has started, fees for work already completed are non-refundable. Any advance covering work not yet started may be refunded at our discretion, minus costs already incurred (e.g. domain or hosting purchased on your behalf).

Ongoing maintenance

Maintenance and support after launch are offered as a separate, optional arrangement and are not included in a one-time build unless agreed otherwise.

Limitation of liability

We build with care, but we don't guarantee specific business outcomes (traffic, leads, or sales) from a website alone. AK Studio's liability for any claim arising from a project is limited to the amount paid for that project.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. The "Last updated" date above will always reflect the current version.
